Obama is a Christian - his pastor says curse america

The retiring pastor of Barack Obama's church — the Reverend Jeremiah Wright Jr. — said in a sermon five years ago that black people should ask God to curse America — instead of bless it

BC News reports the following from a 2003 sermon — "The government gives
them the drugs, builds bigger prisons, passes a three-strike law and then wants
us to sing 'God Bless America.' No, no, no, God damn America, that's in the
Bible for killing innocent people. God damn America for treating our citizens as
less than human. God damn America for as long as she acts like she is God and
she is supreme."

Well, the Obama camp made Ferraro step down. Hopefully they'll condemn Rev. Wright as being wrong.

Prince Charles to UAE: Ban McDonalds!

During the launch of an anti-diabetes campaign in the Middle East:

Prince Charles has suggested on a visit to the UAE that McDonald's fast
food should be banned. His comments come amid increasing concern over the obesity
and diabetes crisis that is brewing in the Middle East.Ironically, the Prince of
Wales' comments were made while visiting the Imperial College London Diabetes
Centre in Abu Dhabi for the launch of a public health campaign.

"Have you got anywhere with
McDonald's? Have you tried getting it banned? That's the key," the prince said
to a nutritionist at the centre.

Despite the remarks of Prince Charles, diabetes will still exist in a world without the number one fast food chain.

The Hillary Machine Begins to Roll

Let’s see …

Barack Obama is bad, he’s evil, because David Geffen, the Dreamworks founder, was quoted as saying “Everybody in politics lies, but they [the Clintons] do it with such ease, it’s troubling.”  And, Geffen made a $2300 contribution to Obama’s campaign.

Give it back Obama!

Yet, Geffen is a former Bill Clinton supporter and Clinton was impeached for lying.  Meanwhile, Hillary exploits Bill’s reputation at every opportunity and somehow escaped scandal after scandal after scandal … while in the Whitehouse.

By the way, growls Hillary, mention the impeachment and you’ll face the bloody wrath of my awesome omnipotent political machine.

Quite clearly, Geffen has single-handedly pried the lid off the rusty old can of Clinton lies, reminding voters of what will happen if this truth-challenged couple ever returns to the Oval Office.

Here are a few of the Clinton lies, which Hillary participated in via spin and cover-up, from RealClearPolitics:

-- Clinton lied under oath to a federal grand jury. (That's perjury, of course, and perjury remains a felony.)

-- Clinton continues to lie about his 12-year affair with Gennifer Flowers.

-- Clinton still denies he sexually harassed Paula Jones. (Even though he paid her $850,000 in hush money.)

-- Clinton persists in dismissing the Whitewater scandal as a "land deal where I lost money" (despite the fact that a dozen of his close associates landed in jail over the matter).

-- Clinton illegally obtained FBI files on his political opponents and lied about that, too.

-- On the golf course, Clinton has an incredibly difficult time playing his ball where it lies. According to close observers (Tiger Woods among them), Clinton exhibits questionable math when he tallies his scorecard.

-- And according to Washington Post reporter John Harris, Clinton was so upset about his inability to lose weight in 2000 that following his annual physical he instructed aides to release a bogus number that made him five pounds lighter.

We all remember how he looked into the camera, emotional and indignant, and said, “I did not have sex with the woman.”  We all remember Hillary labeling Bill’s critics as the vast right wing conspiracy.

We remember Hillary going on the offensive during Bill’s campaign, when his critics brought up his known affair with Flowers.

We remember Bill’s promise that he and Hillary entered the Whitehouse as a team.

Hillary threatens, now, that nobody had better mention the impeachment of her husband, Bill, or else …

Back to my opening statement.  Why is it that Hillary can accuse Obama on the basis of Geffen’s statements, which everyone knows to be true, and yet nobody is allowed to mention the Clinton Whitehouse follies?

Obama's Racist Church

H'e given Hilary a lot to work with - imagine if some other color were substituted for the word "black" in this position statement by Obama's Church:

We are a congregation which is Unashamedly Black and Unapologetically Christian... Our roots in the Black religious experience and tradition are deep, lasting and permanent. We are an African people, and remain "true to our native land," the mother continent, the cradle of civilization. God has superintended our pilgrimage through the days of slavery, the days of segregation, and the long night of racism. It is God who gives us the strength and courage to continuously address injustice as a people, and as a congregation. We constantly affirm our trust in God through cultural expression of a Black worship service and ministries which address the Black Community.

Trinity United Church of Christ adopted the Black Value System written by the Manford Byrd Recognition Committee chaired by Vallmer Jordan in 1981. We believe in the following 12 precepts and covenantal statements. These Black Ethics must be taught and exemplified in homes, churches, nurseries and schools, wherever Blacks are gathered. They must reflect on the following concepts:

Commitment to God
Commitment to the Black Community
Commitment to the Black Family
Dedication to the Pursuit of Education
Dedication to the Pursuit of Excellence
Adherence to the Black Work Ethic
Commitment to Self-Discipline and Self-Respect
Disavowal of the Pursuit of "Middleclassness"
Pledge to make the fruits of all developing and acquired skills available to the Black Community
Pledge to Allocate Regularly, a Portion of Personal Resources for Strengthening and Supporting Black Institutions
Pledge allegiance to all Black leadership who espouse and embrace the Black Value System
Personal commitment to embracement of the Black Value System.

Time for Obama to pull out the "personal faith" is politically meaningless card (although he takes is "faith" seriously) and spin this belief system into a response due to years of discrimination....

Romney misrepresents pro-life politicians

He's been in a rush to state that his position on abortion evolved "just like other great leaders" - a justification for his recent flip-flop. First, we find Mitt Romney's campaign grossly exaggerated Sen. Sam Brownback's record and now it appears that the same was done to President Bush:

Former Massachusetts Gov. Mitt Romney said this week that President Bush “was pro-choice before he became pro-life,” an assertion the Romney campaign now acknowledges was inaccurate. The remark was based on a magazine article Romney had read, his campaign said.
Yet, the Romney campaign has plastered these very articles all over his campaign website and one is written by Romney's adviser on life issues. Please, Romney, stop trying to make yourself look good by falsely representing the record of others.
